Hoosier Mama…

So…I’m a little sad because I just called over at Hoosier Mama Pie company to see if they had any small sized chicken pot pies left and they don’t!  I’ve been obsessing over the amazingness since I ordered one last week!  Oh my gosh…the best chicken pot pie you’ll ever have in your life!

 

Additionally, I don’t think they realize that their business is how I get friends.  Every meeting I have outside the office I bring a Hoosier Mama Pie and people like me…

Don’t forget to order your holiday pies early!  They are so good and absolutely amazing and everyone that works in the shop is the nicest person in the world!  Plus they serve Metropolis Coffee…excellent with your pie!

 

Next up to try is the quiche!

It may be surprising to you seeing the amount of sci-fi I watch and new gadgets I obsess over that I am not into social networking…

Custom Shoes!

So I was at StyleMax this weekend and discovered the best thing in the world, next to cheez-its, Richard Dean Anderson, and chocolate covered bacon: custom shoes!

Meet Ann Roth- footwear designer extraordinaire.  We were destined to meet because her shoes and my dresses so nicely compliment each other that it’s really a match made in heaven and I can’t wait to order a bunch of new shoes!  Here’s some of her amazing designs:

I just can’t believe I didn’t find out about her amazing shoes until now!  Oh my gosh…I don’t know which ones to get first!

I remember watching documentaries about designers when I was in school and being appalled by how dumpy and blah they looked.  Enter last Friday when I picked up my four gorgeous models from Mario Tricoci and then I happened to see my reflection in the rear view mirror and realized, gasp, that I was in fact dumpy and blah!!!!! We spend so much time making others look gorgeous we tend to neglect everyday occurrences like brushing our hair, wearing the same outfit everyday, anything that resembles putting make up on. Wired had a great, but slightly disturbing article about when nature is weirder than sci-fi and had pictures of weird creatures that actually exist.  I don’t want to post any of the pics as they might be a little disturbing, but for some reason I just can’t stop staring at the last one…crazy!!!!
